Hi group:

On March 19th, 2004 under the Subject, "Query/400: Adding % sign to Report," I
received information about how to use the F16 Edit function under "Specify
Report Column Formatting."

Everything seemed to work OK until I noticed the following errors that occured
on printed reports:

1. If the resulting number was less that $1.00 or 1.00%, they would appear on
the report without a decimal point, as follows:

$0.58 would appear as $  58;

00.23% would appear as 23%.

2. If the resulting number was negative, it would appear on the report as a
positive number, as follows:

($10.33) would appear as $10.33;

(3.67%) would appear as 3.67%;

($00.10) would appear as $  10;

(00.15%) would appear as  15%.

Is there a flaw or bug in the Edit mode that prevents negative and small number
amounts from appearing properly?

Is there any kind of workaround available that can deal with this problem?

Again, I look forward to your comments.
