Good News Everybody!

A new search engine is coming soon.

As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Use the strpdm command, take option 3, specify the file library and member.
you should only see the desired member in a list. Put a 2 (to edit)the
member. place a "D" in the first position of each record that is not part
of the desired SQL. Press f3. press enter to save and you should be ok.

Thanks for all of your help. I misspoke before. When I used strsql
then saved it to a source file using option 4 it saved more than just
the sql statement. So when I ran it using runsqlstm it failed. How do
you save just the sql statement. thanks

No problem. There should be a file on your system that contains source
members. you can try to use QCLSRC. If you are not sure where QCLSRC
is
located on your 400, use *libl for the library. If that doesn't get it
for
you, you will need to ask your i.t. support people where you can keep
the
SQL statement...
