John, I tried something in our test system, this seems to work. We're configured to price at order entry time (vs. shipment time) Also, I Have Price Override authority...: 1) enter the line item effective for the 1st price book (1234) 2) go to the Price and currency Panel (040), change the Price Book to (4567), When prompted " Reprice items at end order/" say "N" (the default) 3) enter the line item effective for the 2nd price book But beware of re pricing at end of order or even when reviewing order in maintainance. The price will revert back to the price book on the order (the one on the 040 panel). It would be better solution if MAPICS "locked in" at the line item level the price book ID. Looks like it could work, but beware it could cause lots of errors if orders are maintained for other reasons later, and Automatic pricing occurs again. For example maintaining the order again and reviewing the line items the pricing would be at the current order price book. For instance, line item #1 uses price book 1234, line item #2 uses price book 4567? If so, does anyone have any tips on how to do this? BTW, if this is a simple, "newbie" question, please forgive the question - I'm new to price books!
