Trudie,
We've been on the 4-4-5 scenario since 1990, prior to that we were
calendar-based. To be honest, we have no problems at all. In fact, it's
easier. We always close our month-end on a Sunday, which is a non-workday,
so we don't have timing issues anymore (well, almost none - once in a while
we rush some billing through for deliveries over a weekend).
Once thing that helps is we have the MTHACT enhancement, and that makes it
really easy to segregate monthly billing and such.

Discussion
We are doing a study of the effort and benefits of switching from calendar
months to 4 week 4 week 5 week periods. We are not going to change the
date of our year end, which is October 31. Most of our environments are
using IFM but one is still on old Accounting Management. Has any of you
done this switch? Has anyone researched this and decided not to switch?
