RE: Steel prices

You can use the "will advise price" feature when creating a PO.  The price
can be added any time before the goods are received.

I know this is definitely not directly related to MAPICS per se, but am
curious as to how other manufacturing co's are dealing with the current
exponential rise of steel prices?

One vendor I spoke with today indicated he would provide my pricing on day
of shipment!  Another indicated that I should expect a $10 / cwt increase in
the near future and he wouldn't book any blanket po's.

If replies to my inquiry are not warranted in this group, I'll understand.
