If you don't need an ultra-sophisticated data mart, you could look at New Generation Software's IQ product, with it's "data cube" add-ons. Go see www.ngsi.com, click on the pull down for "Select Products and Services". We have this, and it's really, really cool. In fact, maybe I shouldn't limit this to "non-ultra-sophisticated" - it's quite powerful. No, I don't work for NGS or any of it's affiliates - we just use it and think it's a really neat and easy to use product. Inexpensive, too. We're aware of the Cognos tool and the relationship with MAPICS. Just curious if anyone else has implemented a data warehouse and which tools did you use for: 1) ETL mapping 2) Reporting 3) Which database did you choose? (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) Thank You _______________________________________________ This is the MAPICS ERP System Discussion (MAPICS-L) mailing list To post a message email: MAPICS-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/mapics-l or email: MAPICS-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/mapics-l.
