I plan on having an R7 environment up and running (pilot mode) by the end
of 1st quarter 2004. I just upgraded my disk to allow me a full 3rd
environment, and have acquired an IXA for my "to-be-installed" server, have
gotten sizing information for the server (somewhat vague, but I am going to
over-buy), and plan to be in trial by end of March, and if all works well,
convert live over July 4th.
Note: very, Very VERY fuzzy deadlines......

ERP System Discussion
Greetings from freezing, cold Long Island, NY....
We are currently planning an implementation of various client applications
(PM, MM, Integrator)
and are currently at Release 6. Release 7 offers the new technology and
eliminates the need
to write the user exit code for updating of files.
How many of you are currently at Release 7 or planning to implement Release
7 within the
first quarter of 2004??
Are there any other problems or pitfalls reported as of today??
Any report of your experiences would be greatly appreciated....
