× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Dump the contents of the message file to *PRINT then search the spooled
file:
DSPMSGD RANGE(*ALL) MSGF(MESSGE) OUTPUT(*PRINT)

When I write programs and need to issue an error message, I often like
to use an existing message from one of the MAPICS message files.  Does
anyone know of a utility to easily search for a specific phrase in one
of the files?
