Willie, We went with Cornerstone Communication's uFormz. The reasons we went with uFormz were: 1. We already owned it - we had acquired it some time ago with an upgrade to our Unifier (fax server) system. The reason I looked elsewhere was because initially they didn't support MICR coding, and they didn't have a MAPICS forms library. 2. However, they added MICR coding capabilities, and have added the MAPICS forms. At least, I think they have them all - we are only concerned with AP checks at the current time. But they committed to doing them all. 3. They have (in my opinion) excellent customer support. They really have stepped up to the plate anytime I have had a problem. That's important to me. Bob Crothers (head of technical support) is excellent, and Beth in tech support (on the phones) is always very helpful, and quite knowledgable. If we wouldn't have gone with uFormz, the choice came down to between ACOM and Elite. Both seemed to be quite similar, but most likely I would have picked Elite. They had a slightly better price, and the technical and sales people impressed me more. Lori Johnson was extremely knowledgable and helpful. However, we are using uFormz, and so far I am quite happy. They are currently redoing the AP check form for us, so we have have more detail on the stub, which will probably eliminate the RA01 remittance advices. I expect to move to the new forms in the next 2 weeks (we do 1 check run per week). There are a lot of good options out there. We just finished doing that same thing, and there are over a dozen good solution providers out there, almost all priced competitively. If you want, I can send you a list of the vendors we checked out. We do not have MAPICS source. Is there any third party software that will do this or is there a better way.
