If you run your queries from CL programs or from MAPICS menus, I would suggest that you specify all the file names on the RUNQRY command as follows: RUNQRY QRY(QUERYLIB/QUERYNAME) QRYFILE((*LIBL/FILE1) (*LIBL/FILE2) (*LIBL/FILE3)) This will make the query run using the library list instead of what is hard coded in the query definition. I was wondering if anyone has a solution to having to change all their queries that are pointing to a specific environment when a new environment is created. We create multiple environments through out the year for separate functions and each one is a full environment that has to work independently. This means going into several hundred queries and changing the file libraries, which becomes a long boring job that is a waste of time and man power. Do I need to change them all to query management queries to run over a library list or is there some kind of neat tool or in house solution out there? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
