If the values look out of whack they could be. MAPICS has an audit for
this. Go to Inventory Management / File Maintenance / On-Order Quantity
Audit. The audit recalculates the correct on order quantity, updates the
field and prints a before and after report. We do this weekly and have
noticed a few corrections. We also run "Allocation Quantity Audit" from the
same menu immediately after the "On-Order Quantity Audit".

Subject: On Order Production field in ITEMBL

How/When does the On Order Production field (MPRPQ) in the ITEMBL file get
updated?
Does the quantity increase when a CO is created and decrease when a shipment
is made?
