Hrishikesh Another option that you could use is software package that would allow you to take what you need off of your Mapics screens and map them down to the smaller size screens. This is call Screen scrapping or screen mapping. There are a few software packages out there (Including our QuikTrac 5.0 suite) that would allow you to use the same screens without any host programming or custom code. By using a software package like this, you will be able to pick the right data collection terminals that meet you needs and provide service and support in your area. Recently, we were given a demo by a barcode scanner company. The screen is 12 rows by 40 characters but it displays the 24x80 screen. We had to scroll to see the entire contents of this screen. Now we would like to have the Mapics transaction screen (for IP, IS, RP, PC etc.) to appear on this screen. Here, we intend to have a custom program that will come up on this screen. I would appreciate your inputs on this issue to help our design process. Regards, Hrishikesh Kotwal ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Want to visit Spain?
