The new version of Integrator is the R7 release, and offers a LOT of new features, like you don't have to synchronize to get the data elements in an object, you don't have to worry about those Integrator object numbers, you don't have to restart the Browser to start using the new stuff, and so on. They finally made Integrator a lot easier to use. Outstanding version. Unfortunately, we have to wait to get to R7 to take advantage of it. And R7 CSM has been delayed again. Sigh.... Is it enhancements or a whole new product? When will it be available?ThanksPete DaleGindlesperger@xxxxxxxxxxx wrote: Eric, I got to go. I thought the sessions were quite good - lots of customer success stories that I got some good ideas from attending. There were (I felt) considerably fewer vendors present than in prior years, but there were some new vendors that weren't there in the past. Attendance seemed down to me, especially considering there was another product line present (Syteline). I didn't hear any official numbers. Also, I didn't attend any hospitality suites for "non-certified" partners, but that doesn't mean there weren't any. There were some interesting new products announced, like CRM for MAPICS/XA, a new Field Service/Problem reporting module to interface with Browser, some new features for COM_Net2, and more. Also, the new MAPICS Integrator is really slick - Phil Joseph's presentations that I attended got interrupted with applause a couple times (not unusual for him). Unfortunately, they announced ANOTHER delay in CSM - now the 4th calendar quarter of 2003. That's over a year later than was promised last year. Also, I think the MAPICS portion of the Tech Expo was bigger this year, which was good. There is also an "official" International MAPICS User Group now, in addition to our existing regional groups that have existed. I'm not sure what the impact of that will be - it's a carry over from the Syteline group, I think. I was a little disappointed with the "special event", and the opening session wasn't as good as usual (no business speaker this year), but those aren't as important as the sessions and the tech expo to me. I think it was well worth my time and expense, as always. Dale Gindlesperger IT Manager Fleetwood Folding Trailers, Inc. Were there many "hospitality suites" of vendors that were not "certified" partners? How about attendance?
