You will need to recompile - MAPICS upgrade program has no idea these logical files exist. WARNING: if you followed MAPICS naming convention, you may get burned!! I.e. if your current MAPICS release has IMHIST07, 08 and 09, and you named your logical IMHIST10, rel 6 may have a MAPICS IMHIST10. When you recompile your IMHIST10, you "blow theirs out of the water" and it is a real mess to get it back in synch... (Sadly, this piece of advice is given from experience.) Remember to test your logicals in your test environment; then recompile them in your live environment, too, when you "go live." If you copy the logical from the test to the live AMFLIBx, they are still pointing to the test AMFLIBx physical file. (This advice, too, is given from experience... It is a painful way to learn, but you do never make the same mistake again!) We have written logical files that reference MAPICS files. Will the upgrade process result in these logicals pointing correctly to the files in the upgraded environment, or will we need to recompile the logicals after the upgrade?
