Bob,

I agree with the other gentleman that answered - I think every 2 months and
$150/year would be much more palatable for most companies.  The issues
would probably be more comprehensive in that format also.

I would be quite interested in subscribing, also.  I usually got a lot out
of the old MAPICS the Magazine issues - in fact, I still have most of them.
A lot of the MAPICS apps haven't changed a whole lot over the years, until
Browser impacts them, and how they work is still awfully similar.  I mean,
what can you do with PC&C beyond what it does?  That's a very solid app.

Would the issues be PDF format?  Or just e-mail links?  Or like the new
eWeek?

I would be interested in publishing a MAPICS newsleter along the following
lines:

  a.. The newsletter would be MAPICS-independent.
  b.. It would distributed electronically each month.
  c.. Its contents would consist of MAPICS news from MAPICS and other
sources, a tips and techniques column, independently written articles about
MAPICS applications and ways to use MAPICS to meet business needs,
advertising, and help wanted adds.
  d.. MAPICS customers, affiliates, and consultants would be encouraged to
contribute articles.
  e.. The newsletter would be priced at $300 per year ($25 per issue).
I would appreciate feedback on this idea either through the forum or
directly. I am especially interested in knowing if you are likely to
subscribe, willing to contribute articles, or interested in advertising.
