I would use just the IMHIST, you could "double" process the records if you
use both places.

"Are you talking posting thru PM&C or are you entering the trans in IM
batch.
If PM&C there is a User exit called AMJPZZ where it will execute if the
proc
is found.
If thru IM.. could put a trigger on IMhist file
