You can't create a trigger on a logical file.  You just have to condition 
the processing to only the transaction codes that you want.

Could create a logical with record selection and put the trigger on the
logical. Then would only fire when those certain records populated the
file.. Part of the selection could be record type and a blank user fld..
then trigger would update the user fld and once updated would not be in
logical..
