What you are looking for is the Client API interface for Integrator. It
is documented in the Integrator Help Text. There is a sample VB program
that displays a window for you to enter the Client API command. The name
of the sample is ZPublicBrowser.exe. It should be located in the runtime
directory.

If this does what you want, we have another sample that can run without
the entry screen. This sample has the command passed in as a parm and
bypass the entry dialog. This allows a program action to be created on
one object that can call an API for another object using substitution
variables in the command. If you are interested we can send you a copy.

Hope this helps.

Subject: Call Mapics Browser Function within Custom Object

I need to open the Create Enterprise Item window from a custom object
added
via Integrator. Mapics tells me that calling these functions are written
into the code so it is not possible. In my Integrator class we had a
program where you could copy/type in the API string and it would open the
Mapics Browser window. I would think I could write something similar but
wondered if any of you have already done this and have a better solution.
