RE: COM offline load

I have not done this but the possibility that comes to mind is checking the
status of the display file and if not open (i.e. running in batch) bypassing
the portion of the code that writes to the screen.

    Well, not just kick off the off-line load, but go all the way through
the
process. I'm not sure if default Mapics functionality has a green screen
display
that shows item availablity or not. The program we are struggling with is
AMVATP0R.
We have one in a custom library (higher on library list than AMALIB) that
displays
item availablity to the user. Your suggestions?
