Tom... The way the Product Structure file (PSTRUC) is organized, I do not
think it is possible with SQL/Query/Access/Excel. You would need a program
to chase from Parent to Component (PINBR to CINBR). This gets tricky when
there are assortments or kits. If you would like a sample RPG program
contact me offline.

IMO,

Subject: Product Structure SQL

Hello All,

Anyone have a pc app (excel or access) that uses ODBC, etc. and has a
SQL query that successfully will produce an indented bill of material?
We're working on a little project where we want to throw the BOM into
Access or Excel and can't seem to put together the proper joins to
accomplish this. Probably something simple. Any hints, examples, etc.
appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom Wood
