   Bryan,
   Why not use the Customer/Item Xref file?  If the parent company is not a
   customer, make up one? 
    
   I will always remember my first boss' comment when a customer wanted to
   change a significant field in MAPICS: "You will have to drag me out to the
   parking lot kicking and screaming before you can justify to me why you
   have to make that change!"
