Ahhhhhh.  I saw the input function but didn't realize it would populate
the field .. thought it was for use elsewhere in your script.  I'll try

Tom,

First of all, make sure you record the macro as a "Macro File" instead
of a
"VBScript File".  Then insert the [input] function into the macro file
right
after you have navigated the cursor to the field in question.  The
[input]
function will actually prompt the user with a little popup window.  When
the
user presses enter, whatever they typed will automatically go into the
field
that the cursor is at.

This is the way the macro lanquage for client access "stops" at a field
for
input.

Anyone use macros in Client Access to speedup some data entry? I'm
using green-screens and would rather not customize a screen using MUI,
but I have a user who enters some basic info in the item master and only
needs to hit a few fields. I'm trying to use a macro to step her
through those fields, but I can't figure out how to get the thing to
pause on a field and wait for input, then continue on to the next
fields(s).
