This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] We've always had problems with allocation fields, and we schedule the standard I/M audits each night - it really helps. Do an IM, 7 (File Maintenance), and run options: 10. On-Order Quantity Audit 11. Allocation Quantity Audit We also do a location audit every night: IM, 7, 9, and then: 6. Location Quantity Audit This isn't anything new, we've done this since the MAPICS II days back in 1987. No idea why they get hosed (I have always been real suspicious of "RS" transactions personally with regards to this), but they get off a LOT. Hope this helps! There's no way we actually have that huge quantity allocated for this item. I can't see the detail that makes up that number anywhere. I've queried every file I can think of and can't find that qty for that item (nothing remotely close to that total). I zeroed out the PALOC field in ITEMBL and then ran the "Allocation Quantity Audit" on the IM File Maintenance menu. After the audit was done, the 8,469 is back in PALOC!! Help!! Does anyone know what file(s)/field(s) I need to query in order to find that Pending Allocation Qty? I've looked in MOMAST, MODATA, SLALLO, ORDATAM, ORDATAC, ORDATM(all members), ORDATC(all members), MBCDREP.
