This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Ted, If you are working with manufactured parts for the MRP Order Recommendation report, you can use vendor number in the ITEMASA file to plug a sequencing number. The report prints in sequence of planner/vendor/item#. For some parts, we want the planners to always look at a group of parts together (and first), so we plug values like "1", "2", and so on in the vendor number field in the ITEMASA. Obviously, this can cause problems with purchased parts, unless you are REALLY creative! However, I think it's easier to manipulate data than change programs..... I have been asked to recreate the MRP order recommendation by exception report. I need to change the sort order and add additional information. Is there a file that I can use that drives this report? Or is it created using many files only available during the 'generation'. Thanks in advance, Ted _______________________________________________ This is the MAPICS ERP System Discussion (MAPICS-L) mailing list To post a message email: MAPICS-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/mapics-l or email: MAPICS-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/mapics-l.
