Thanks guys, I'm looking at both options right now.  For the immediate
fix, I agree.  Not interested in a lot more cost & overhead to address
this particular need.

As Greg said it is a quite simple change to the printer file in order to
print barcodes on an IPDS printer.  If this is the only barcode
requirement
that you need to meet right now I certainly wouldn't recommend
purchasing
ANY package at ANY price.

Did you consider changing the DDS of the printer file to print the bar
