Yeah, when we went on Saturday last, there were three groups (families I
presumed) who stayed in their seats while everyone else exited. (My husband
had picked up the hint on the various HP web sites.) When the scene played,
two adults and one child said almost simultaneously in their respective
groups - "See, I told you so!"

I suspect it was in self-defense after the flurry of owls - excuse me,
e-mails - that he received. ;-)

BTW, when you go to see "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets," be sure
to stay to the VERY end through all the credits. There's a 15-20 second
"extra" scene that makes the wait worth the while.

You've already seen it? But surely you're planning to go again, aren't you?

Hello all!

I received a number of number of requests for my PowerPoint presentation

regarding PowerPoint. The PowerPoint is the one I gave at the 2002 MAPICS
Conference (session 200). In order to make it a little easier for anyone
interested, I have posted it on the web, along with sample source code
listings of programs that will allow you to use the Offline Shipping
Enhancement at your facility.

You can access them at http://www.fft-inc.com/offship.html

The PowerPoint presentation is a zipped file, containing Lotus ScreenCams
that helps the presentation make more sense. In addition, my "script" for
the session is included in the notes with the PowerPoint (open the
PowerPoint, select Outline View, and print it if you want that much
information). You get to "attend" my session without having to actually

listen to me!

The source code listings are PDFs that you can print out and use to help

develop your own versions. While these are fully functional programs (well,
actually listings of the programs), PLEASE do NOT call me for support. I
can't handle that on top of my regular job! :)

Good luck, and I hope this helps all of you with this really excellent FREE
add-on to MAPICS. We don't do ANY manual Pick-Pack-Ship functions anymore.
We handle everything through OFFSHIP.
