PLM&C is part of the Paperless Suite, maybe referred to as Shop Tools. It
used to be sold by ISE out of Wisconsin but is now sold by MAPICS.
It is a shop floor reporting system where employees job on & off shop orders
to record labor and production quantities. PLM&C sends the data to MAPICS
through the PMC module which you mentioned you don't have.
Before we started using PLM&C our orders had to be manually changed to a
status 55; I can't recall ever having an order automatically change to 55 on
it's own.

Good luck in getting your mystery solved.

Hi Eric Trube:

What is PLM&C? Is this Production Monitoring and Control?
If it is, we don't use that module in our shop.

We don't use any feature that may be in Mapics DB that automatically closes
MOs.
