Doug, There are two files that we have used to generate pick lists. They are MOMAST and MODATA in the AMFLIB library. MOMAST is the Manufacturing Order header and MODATA contains the details of the components that have been "attached" to the order either at release or keyed later. MOMAST has the Order Number, Line Number, Warehouse, Order Status, Order Release Sequence, Customer Job No., Reference, Scheduled Start Date, etc. MODATA has the Order Number, Item Number, Total Quantity Required, Unit of Measure, Item Description, etc. In my experience, I have not found a MAPICS program that produces a satisfactory pick list. I have used IWP and Jacana to produce very useful Pick Lists. I have the task of implementing an automatic pick list generation process. I plan to use the end order user exit to test for the conditions of automatically generating a pick list. My question to the group is: Is there a MAPICS program that I can pass parameters to that will then generate a pick list? The parameters would be things like Order Number, Line Number, Item Number, Warehouse, etc. Or is there a database file that these parameters could be placed in and then call a MAPICS procedure that would read the file and generate pick lists? Any help would be much appreciated because I have a very short deadline for implementation.
