Doug, We've always printed our checks on laser. We've got an HP Laser Jet 8000. We use JetForm and a MICR font to create the layout. When they want to print checks, they just let everyone else know (it's a small department), pull out the white paper and put the check forms in and print. We also use JetForm for our Bill of Lading and Purchase Orders. Both of which print on plain white paper. Any advise as to form layout? Is a dedicated printer needed or has anyone done it with a multi-bin printer? We would like to have just the one printer in accounting. Any other gotchas?
