Al, Unfortunately there is not a way in the MAPICS security to do what you are suggesting. It is one of the functions and flexiability that has been in IM since the 1980's that allows anyone to enter transactions into suspended or closed batches. Training your people on how this area works to help support each other will help to decrease the confusion and help them embrace the full functionality provided by this application.
