RE: Invoice/Credit/Re-Invoice

Ann,

Just kidding on MAPICS current aversion to actually fixing
stuff. Sort of like the "working as programmed" when I worked
there. Since we went to R6 ptf2624, the acknowledgement program
seems to not be removing all the temporary invoicing records it
adds to the MBDHREP file. The records are pretty blank just
containing the order number, company and customer number,
no invoice number but an invoice sequence. I would be interested
if you are getting them as well. It also seems somehow related
to the customer being on credit hold but is erratic enough to
have just about any cause.

They also elected not to fix the ship date calculation since it
pervaded COM. Another "working as programmed" issue. I wonder if
the other ERP systems are equally ship date challenged?
