Re: Ship Date Calculation in COM (or MAPICS)


We are struggling with the shipping lead time and the shipping calendar.
We do not
ship on holidays and weekends so our shipping calendar (in COM) has these
days flagged
as 'non-working' days.  But we do have trucks leaving at 5:00 a.m. but the
warehouse starts
at 7:00 a.m.  So we need to have a 'pack' day.

Since I didn't find an API to call for determining shipping date, I
attempted my own for our custom reports.
My calculated ship date for the Monday promise ends up on Thursday.  But
the system has loaded Friday
as the manufacturing due date.

Is there an API to call so I can stay in synch with Mapics?
