We've been on a middle sized 270 (70CPW interactive 900CPW batch)
(4GB RAM 80GB Raid 50% used) for 2 years coming from a 600.
It's a screaming machine.
Full 18,000 item MRP run went from 3.5 hours to 7 minutes.

XA6 SH14445 V5R1 01302 using TCP/IP (no SNA or twinax just CA400 Express)
We are all green screen
COM,SA,FCST,MPSP,MRP,CRP,IM,PCC,PDM,PMC,GL,AP,AR,PR,PUR
In the process of implementing Browser,PDM+ and AM+
As usual get all the PTF's and advice you can from IBM and Mapics SH14446
Great machine.  Our users hated COM before and now they sort of like it.

We are moving from Model 600 to Model 270. Any known MAPICS issues?  Also,
do you have to have same level of operating system?  We are currently at
4.4
moving to 5.1 on new machine.
