RE: (no subject)

I used this user exit before.  It's an unusually clever one.  It allows you
to pass a flag and 40 bytes of stuff back to the order entry program.  If
the flag is non blank, the item won't pass the edit.

On the downside, you can't do anything with the 40 bytes without modifying
the order entry pgm.

It would just be a few lines tho.
