Tim,

Wow, what an outpouring of options already. I did want to point out the
Mapics application module, JacanaForms. It will interface with many
email and fax applications, and provide a host of new capabilities too.
You can use it to apply a graphical forms design to the standard Mapics
output and not rely on ordinary text mail or fax.

JacanaForms can replace all of your pre-printed forms with customized
electronic forms designs, so you are not limited to just fax or email.
You can utilize any/all of the laser printers on your network and
simultaneously produce output for fax/email with copies to the internal
laser printers.

Momentum is the developer of JacanaForms and the Info WorkPlace suite of
products.

Subject: Email, Fax and PDF of MAPICS Reports.

Has anyone on the list sucsessfuly integrated emailing or faxing PO's,
Invoices and other Mapics reports?

We are currently looking at Optio Software they have a Win2K server app
that
will act like a TCPip printer on the 400 and process spool files with
overlays and they can print, fax, email or save as a PDF. Are any of
you
using a Mapics Module to accomplish this?
