You are correct. If no actual transactions were reported, you would see no entries on the Assign screen. The purpose of the assign screen is to apply the rules and priorities to actual transactions passed from the operational modules, COM, PCC, and IM. No transactions means nothing to apply rules to. Do I understand then, that if there were no transactions turned in that meet the criteria, the "Transaction Type and Description" would not be displayed on the "Assign Accounts" screen (Menu: AMCM92, Option 1)? -----Original Message----- From: Bob Waters [mailto:BobW@HarkerInc.com] Sent: Friday, May 17, 2002 5:22 PM To: mapics-l@midrange.com Subject: RE: PCC General Ledger Interface Question Even though you show an active Interface, you need to make sure you activated that particular type of transaction. That is done as part of the GL Interface options under the General Ledger Management function. Within this you chose option 4, Maintain Interface Control File. Here you select which transactions you want to use. If this is already done, then I would check to see if transactions were actually turned in as part of PCC or PMC.
