RE: Upgrade Issue

We are in process of converting from 4 to 6 with no
plans for 7, since we are not fans of the client
architecture or Synon applications. We try to limit
ourselves to one obsolete architecture at a time.

Our current policy is to replace the add on applications
and MAPICS apps as we are able to with homegrown custom code.
Anyone looking at replacing MAPICS with something more
current?

I am afraid the PDM files will be around forever
since PLMC requires them until it gets rewritten.
Now if we just get MAPICS to keep the same information
in both PDM and EPDM...
