To add to this question we are currently at XAR6.  Does anyone know if as
XAR7 is the EPDM to PDM interface completely gone.  I guess what I really
mean is are changes to the Item Revision files made in the Item Master
Files.  I heard that in XAR7 this would no longer happen.

It depends.  You would need to evaluate what custom code you have and what
it is accomplishing and see if there is a solution in Rel 6.  Most likely
you will need the GUI Browser applications to accomplish eliminating most
custom code.
