The answer is easy, especially if you are on R6 or higher or run OS/400
V5R1:
    Triggers
On lower releases it is a little more hassle because you can only have 1
trigger per file per action (add, update,delete) in R6 or V5R1 this is
solved resp by MAPICS, IBM.  You then need to beware of  other trigger
programs and the add/remove which MAPICS can do during PTF apply's.
I' been doing this for years around other datacollection apps than ISE's
with several MAPICS files
