Bonnie, I am not aware of any MAPICS report that is worth much of anything and the add on applications such as WcFields are worse (ie no reporting at all). With the COM database being extremely messy we normalize and extract sales info nightly and perform most of our reporting from Crystal Info. For other needs we extract the information through ODBC into Excel and allow the users to sort, pivot and print in any fashion they want. In many case these spreadsheets become input for new file changes since MAPICS is lacking in mass change capability as well. Since we are not user based pricing on our license yet and stuck with our existing AS/400 we are moving to data warehousing in SQL Server to offload a substantial burden from the AS/400 and make reporting much easier, again using Crystal Info as the reporting tool. We still do use query for quite a few simple ad hoc inventory based reports. For more complicated criteria based reports we use Progen to generate a panel to collect the criteria then create a report program to go beyond the normal abilities of query. Good luck! Konrad
