Hi Pete,

This can be done several ways, depending on if you have your AS/400
(iSeries) set up as a mail server or not (we do). The process is a little
involved in setting up. Due to the complexity of the process, I would
recommend contacting me outside of this bulletin board and I can send you
the source code for the CLs, and configuration options if you want to do
it that way.

Another option that I recommend strongly is that a lot of fax server
software today can also send e-mails. Cornerstone Communications'
Unifier/400 handles this VERY easily, and you have the option of either
sending to a fax or an e-mail. It can even be done without programming if
you want, especially with MAPICS and the CAS Report Override capabilities.
We use it extensively here. You can get more information at their web
site www.cstoneindy.com (weird ID).
