We also do a full refresh between MAPICS and MDCC.  Ours takes about 20
minutes, and is scheduled to run at 10:00, noon, 2:30, 6:30, and 8:30.  We
occasionally have problems where the orders are actually run prior to the
next refresh.  I am currently working on a project to insert a refresh by
order number range into the order release run (currently looking at
plugging it into the shop packet print routine) - that will run faster
than the full refresh.  I will then only run full refreshes over lunch
breaks (3 times a day).

I must confess that I am surprised that MDCC doesn't come with an option
to update through the order release process.  It seems to me to be a
natural offering.  Oh well.....
