Chris, When a U-JOB goes onto HELD status it is normally for the following reasons: 1. Backup 2. Answering the questionnaire 3. Reorganizing files MAPICS calls program AXZHJ to put the jobs on hold. This job will store some information in QTEMP that it will use later to restart them. What you can do, is write a program to change the status of the U-JOBS to 4/4 (Current status and requested status). That will allow the U-jobs to start when they are requested to start from within MAPICS. Hope that helps. Lately, we have been having the problem of the unattached jobs going to a held status for unexplained reasons. I am confident that nobody is going into the maintain unattached jobs option and doing this. I have checked the application logs. I spoke with one person at MAPICS but they could not explain it. Any help would be appreciated. Obviously, this is a major problem for us.
