        It probably will come to that, and that IT person would be me.
Management was looking for some sort of (cheap :)) self educating book or
online class in order to save a buck, which in the long run usually ends up
costing more than your suggestion!  Unfortunately, formal training is a
rarity here....

Barb,
We were lucky enough to have a consultant in house that was very well-versed
in MAPICS P/R and was also a good trainer when we went to MAPICS P/R. I'm
sure that there are other people affiliated with MAPICS in your area,
perhaps they can do some of the training.  Someone in house will probably
need to become familiar with the app from an I.S. perspective. Could that
person train your users?

sort of training books, online classes... are available.  What is the best

to learn all the features, setup, year end... on a limited budget.  I have
checked out the User Guide, but it does not provide much detail.
