Why, Ted! The reason you should be considering Jacana Forms is because your MAPICS affiliate will make money from the sale, unlike the other solutions! Sorry, cheap shot. Jacana Forms looks like a good product, except for the sticker shock. I need to take my lithium tablets this morning. ;^) Joan McCready, IS Manager phone: 636-479-4499 MetalTek International fax: 636-479-3399 The Carondelet Division www.metaltekint.com 8600 Commercial Blvd Pevely, MO 63070 -----Original Message----- From: Ted Hendricks [mailto:hendrickst@dninevada.com] Sent: Tuesday, October 23, 2001 6:56 PM To: mapics-l@midrange.com Subject: Email/Fax forms Hello. Recently, I evaluated EZprint for creating laser prints of the MAPICS forms. It's nice and easy to setup and would work great if all we were doing is laser printing; but, we would like a reletively easy way to fax and email as well. My affiliate would like me to go with Jacana forms, but I had sticker shock when I heard his 'ball park' figure. Formtastic is another vendor much like EZprint and IT has a integration module for mapics that would allow easy fax/email. Has anyone considered these products? If so, why should I be seriously considering Jacana? Another question I have is what's the pros and cons for fax/email offerings from a user point of view (i.e. keys fax and fast fax)? Any recommendations will be appreciated.
