I couldn't agree more, Greg.  Ours is $108,000 on a 9406-720/2061 with about
120 users.

It used to be you could buy MAPICS for that - now it's just one year's usage
and support.  And all the new development is in modules you have to pay for
rather than an upgrade or enhancement.

We just got our ALF bill.    $80,000 is just too much money under the
current economic conditions.    We decided to drop our license for several
modules and save $20,000+.   We like MAPICS but it is just too expensive to
keep a module that is not being used sufficiently.
