Melissa, It wouldn't be too hard to build a tracking/notification system, using trigger programs on the files to drive it, provided you have or can afford the programming resource to do the job. The triggers wouldn't affect any of your MAPICS code, although they would add some extra steps at release upgrade time. It shouldn't take more than a man-week to build a basic system.
