Hi guys

I having been using Mapics since 1984 in England.

Mapics is not so popular here now, (sadly as its still the best in my opinion).

I remember the Install 8" diskettes and the same for source code. I remember writing OE&I history and IM history routines on a Sys/36 for Mapics 1. I lost my first mapics customer about 4 years ago to a Sage Accounting package.(it was local government using 3 mapics modules and they paralell ran for 3 years!! (typical civil servants here!!).

I have been in business self employed as a AS400/Mapics consultant now for 5.5 years - not as much work as I would like or used to have -but great fun still!!

From one of the few Mapics guys standalone in the UK!! Best wishes to you all.
