Paola,
I personally would not want Quotes to be included for the following reasons:
1. A Quote is not a sure thing, or even close enough that I would want to do
anything about it or I would have keyed an order.
2. Funky things are often done to quotes that we know will never end up as
demand, like entering several items to show price breaks.
3. Quotes place no demand on manufacturing, so there is no way that the
supply side of the ATP would be addressed.
4. If I wanted to commit to a delivery promise using ATP, I could use a held
order.  

If I am thinking "inside the box" here, I would be very interested in hearing
other folks comments.
