Browser performance

Dear MAPICS fellow travelers -

I have tweaked and tweaked the AS/400 to try to get more speed out of
Browser - particularly EPDM. We are currently at XA 4.0.

I am concerned that when we upgrade to XA 6.0 and try to add the new Browser
functions - CSM, etc. - that the performance will drag our processor to a
standstill.

Can I get any words of encouragement that MAPICS has enhanced (fixed?) the
Browser performance problems so that, when 100% of our end-users are
processing almost all of their transaction through the Browser, XA6 will be
faster than where we currently have 10 of 50 end-users maintaining item
masters, and only 3 of the 10 maintaining routings and BOM's, through the
XA4 Browser?
